Alfred
A. (Chip) Hamilton, MAI

Chip has been appraising
real property in Florida
for well over 30 years. While he has
appraised properties in over
one-third of the Counties in the State, for the past 10 years most of
his
appraisal work has been in the Volusia/Flagler market area. While much of his work has been for financial
institutions, a large percentage is for individual investors and
corporations,
developers and governmental agencies. He
is approved by the State of Florida
to provide appraisal services required for State acquisition and
disposition
projects and State and State-administered federal grants to county and
local
municipalities. He has provided
appraisal expert witness testimony in County, State and Federal courts,
and
before Special Masters in county tax appeals.
Chip has been active in
working to further the appraisal
profession by serving at the Chapter and Regional levels of the
Appraisal
Institute (and the former American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers). His service has included the Board of
Directors, Admissions Committee and Candidate Guidance Committee of the
East
Florida Chapter (and the Florida Chapter #2 before that) and has served
on the
Regional Committee for Region 10 (Florida)
of the Appraisal Institute. He has also
served on the panel for the national Review and Counseling Committee,
investigating and reporting on allegations of misconduct on the part of
Appraisal Institute members as well as Assistant Regional Member
appointing
committee members and processing Review and Counseling investigative
reports.
Chip
has been active in the local community through his

Mary
J. Weyman
Operations Manager
Mary is responsible for
the day to day operation of the
business. She manages all administrative
details and quality control, allowing the appraisers to concentrate on
their
areas of expertise.
Mary
has worked in the financial services industry for almost 25
years, including over 15 years directly involved in the real estate
appraisal
industry in the Volusia/Flagler market area. She
has worked and managed in all areas of
operations and support
services including client service, operations and production control,
business
management, web design, information technology and quality control. Mary’s services are indispensable in
operating a high-quality, client-oriented appraisal business such as

& Jacobs.
